Marking its 5th anniversary, mobile-based food delivery platform Foodpanda has launched an all new and refurbished version of its mobile application for its Indian customers. The latest version, v 1.0x, is available for update on Play Store with a number of improvements and customisations for users in the country.
With this new update, users now get a detailed array of options on home screens including multiple banners for filters, list of restaurants, live discounts and exclusive deals etc. With this advanced version of the Foodpanda app, users will now get to segregate their food preferences with filter banner and the details about a partner profile can be seen using the restaurant banner.
Not just this, but the updated application will also have a header i.e. information banner which will reflect the trending offers of the day at the restaurants around your vicinity. Keeping in mind the convenience of streamlining choices on the home screen, users would be able to use Image filters to choose between various deals, express deliveries and people’s’ choice options.
Speaking upon the same, Saurabh Kochhar, CEO, Foodpanda India said, “Our new app is faster, more user-friendly and enables the customer to access various features like one tap for deals & offers, express delivery, people’s choice and one click re-order. The updated version of the app will now allow users to pin down addresses in four different ways – by manually putting the location, using GPS, saved address and recent shares. The app will now have a ‘one-click re-order’ option that will enable users to save time and place their orders in mere 30 seconds by taking reference from their order history. The new version on the app also comes along with an improved location services and real time order tracking mechanism.
