Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister M.Venkaiah Naidu on Friday said that there were no allegations of corruption against any ministers in the BJP Government, adding that the Centre has remained free of scams and scandals.

“There is no crisis at all. The government is functioning effectively. The government is focusing its attention on development and good governance. There is no allegation of any corruption against any ministers in Modi ji’s government. The government is doing an excellent job. There are no scams and no scandals,” Naidu said.

“Some people want to play politics in each and everything. Let them play politics. We are more concerned about the welfare of the people. As far as we are concerned, we have not done anything wrong,” he added.

The BJP, which has been defending External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj despite opposition demands that she be sacked for helping Lalit Modi, was hit with another worry last week when the former IPL boss claimed that Raje secretly supported his immigration plea in Britain.

The opposition mounted pressure on Raje after the emergence of a letter reportedly carrying her signature, in which she backs Lalit Modi’s application in the UK.

Meanwhile, Maharashtra Women and Child Welfare Minister Pankaja Munde is at the centre of a Rs 206 crore scale, while a Delhi court agreed to hear a complaint against Union HRD Minister Smriti Irani over her educational qualifications.

UPA I & II had never faced hurdles thanks to the crippled BJP leadership and the witch hunting, black mailing tactics and unleashing of CBI, ED, IT on Mulayam, Mayawati, Lallu etc. None dared to speak out. Mamata revolted first. Mulayam had backstabbed mamata during the issue of choosing presidential candidate. Ram Jethmalani was another rebel. LaMo was muted and driven out in exile. The pillars of democracy are Legislature, judiciary and executive. The media that is acting as champion of ethics and morality is running a parallel judiciary and are TOTALLY BIASED. The megalomaniac arnab runs the court and pronounces judgements and burqa announces the punishment for guilty. But the people's court is the ultimate. All of us will have to wait till Bihar elections to know the people's will. Rabble-rousing will fetch votes. Two weeks are completed for the 18 week Bihar election campaign. Modi should stick to RajDharma or good governance. Since many BJP workers are unhappy with Raje, the Rajastan CM may be replaced. Raje should be accomodated in Modi's ministry. All of us will have to Wait and watch
