Buoyed by an encouraging response to the Zest and the Bolt, Tata Motors has decided to launch cars across price points to take on the likes of Maruti and Hyundai. Apart from launching two new products every year for the next few years, the company will treble its dealer network over the next three years, said Mayank Pareek, president, passenger vehicle business unit, Tata Motors.
Speaking to FE, Pareek said, “As part of our Horizonnext strategy, we would like to have products across price points to take on competitors in a big way. Our vision is be a sizeable volume player…”
