Launched as a dealership for more premium Maruti Suzuki products, Nexa was introduced in July last year. Today, the Indo-Japanese carmaker opened 100th dealership of Nexa, making it one of the fastest growing automobile retail chains in the country. The 100th dealership is in Thane (South).
With the introduction of 100th Nexa showroom, the company’s premium dealership range now has its presence in 60 cities. The company aims to open 45 more showrooms by the end of this fiscal, and about 100 more by the end of the next year.
R S Kalsi, Executive Director (Marketing & Sales), Maruti Suzuki India Limited said: “We are delighted to start the 100th NEXA showroom ahead of our plan. Through NEXA, we want to meet the diverse expectations of our customers. Customer feedback and surveys show us that there is a growing segment of car buying Indians who value personal care, warmth and attention in their car buying and ownership experience. NEXA is designed for this segment of customers. It brings together people, technology, showroom ambience and processes to deliver the desired experience to this segment of customers.”
The company that currently employs 2,500 relationship managers at Nexa showrooom, plans to hire 2,500 by the end of next financial year when it will have a total of 250 next outlets.
The company currently sells only two models through Nexa – Maruti S-Cross and Baleno – and plans to add more vehicles in coming months.
