Air Pegasus, the new start-up airline focused on south Indian routes, will lease out three more aircraft by end of this year, taking its total number of aircraft to five. The airline, as part of its expansion plan, launched its flight from Chennai to Bangaluru.

Shyson Thomas, managing director, Air Pegasus, told media persons here on Thursday that the company will be leasing out three more aircraft from Vietnam Airlines, and of the three one will be added to the existing fleet by October while the remaining two would be added by December.

“Following a good response by the passengers and the overwhelming patronage by Air Pegasus in the first four months, we have decided to expand our services to rise to the expectations of the new age customer,” he said.
