Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Ashwini Upadhyay on Sunday said that Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal-led Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is busy doing dramas and fooling people rather than doing some concrete work, over the completion of 100 days of the AAP Government.
“100 days have passed and the people of Delhi are waiting for the AAP Government to do some concrete work, but he (Kejriwal) is busy in fighting with everyone. The notification by MHA is just a clarification. They are just fooling the people. The last time we saw part one of the drama and now it is part two of the drama,” said Upadhyay.
Kejriwal will hold a ‘ Jan Samvad’ at the Central Park in New Delhi’s Connaught Place on Monday as the Aam Aadmi Party Government completes 100 days in power.
Kejriwal, who has had a very public spat on administrative matters with Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung, has accused the NDA Government at the Centre of trying to run Delhi through the backdoor.
He has also criticised the Ministry of Home Ministry (MHA) notification clarifying distribution of powers between the Lieutenant Governor’s office and the office of the Delhi Chief Minister, saying it reflects BJP’s nervousness about his party’s anti-corruption efforts.
The Delhi Government has now sought legal opinion on the MHA notification.
