Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath has indicated what his mission to empower the people of Uttar Pradesh entails. The mantra that he has adopted include development and ‘rashtrabhakti’ (nationalism) among the people. At a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) meet on Monday, the chief minister said that the politics of nepotism, casteism and appeasement will end and the only agenda that will be left in the state will be that of development and devotion to the nation, reported news agency PTI. In the two-day BJP meet in Lucknow, many top BJP leaders including the party president Amit Shah are expected to participate. Apart from top leaders, Uttar Pradesh state office bearers and hundreds of delegates are also expected to attend the event.

Besides setting the agenda of development, the UP CM also set aside three specific days – Monday, Thursday and Friday – to meet MPs and MLAs to hear problems related to their constituencies between 4-5 pm. According to an official release issued on Monday, Adityanath will meet MPs every week on Friday on the specified time at secretariat annexe, according to PTI. The entire focus of the meeting is to meet public representatives so that they could inform the CM about the development related problems in Uttar Pradesh and apprise the government of their expectations. As the CM does not want any diversion from the core objective of the meet, he requested the public representatives not to bring anyone with them to the meeting. The CM also shared the information on the official Twitter account of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister’s office.

Yogi Adityanath, since taking over as CM of Uttar Pradesh, has taken a number of steps and issued orders to ensure the proper implementation of law and order and efficient delivery of government services to the public. He has also cracked down against law breakers.
