Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi for completing three years in power and said this is the first time that the country has got a government that is working for the people. He remembered the initiatives taken by the government in the last three years and praised them. Adityanath gave the example of ‘Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao’ and ‘Swachh Bharat’ mission initiatives. Adityanath added that it was almost impossible to believe that a Prime Minister will come up with such schemes but Narendra Modi made it possible. During his speech, he also urged the party workers to help people who fall under the poverty line.

The Uttar Pradesh chief minister hailed Modi-government for helping all sections of society. He also mentioned that it is commendable that government hasn’t been involved in any corrupt practices in last three years. He praised the Prime Minister for implementing schemes like ‘One Rank, One Pension’ that were in demand for the last few years. Talking about the youngsters of India, Adityanath said Indian youth is getting benefits from ‘Skill India’ scheme which is helping them get better jobs.

Yesterday, Union Minister of State in the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) Jitendra Singh also congratulated Prime Minister for completing three years. “Looking back at three years, we stand sufficiently vindictive from the point of view that series of new initiatives, some of them path breaking have been taken with the nucleus as the poor and youth of the country. When we started off, there was a general sense of pessimism all over the country and people looked up at Prime Minister Modi with great deal of expectation,” Singh told news agency ANI.
