Asking why no action was taken against Abhishek Verma, who was an accused then, he alleged no step was taken as their own leader was involved and also if any action was taken, then the government would not have been able to strike Rafale deal with France.

Varun Gandhi on Thursday had threatened to file criminal defamation suit against lawyer Prashant Bhushan and C Edmonds Allen, who claimed that he was honey-trapped and compromised by arms dealer Abhishek Verma.
