Congratulations Mr. Shashi Shekhar Vempati. Well come to Prasar Bharati. Excellent choice. Being a Film Professional I can say that to bring back the glory of Doordarshan AIR, the old retired people those are still working even after the age of 60, should be replaced with young film professionals ( qualified from different films schools) along with film background people. Now DD is working with non-professional programme people having no knowledge of film making. You will not find a single programme producer having the requisite qualification. They were just given some basic training for film making for a period of 3 months whereas they need to be qualified with 3 years of film technology. Then the in-house programmes should be encouraged with insiders as well expert film makers from outside the DD. This is just my suggestion. Once again welcome to National Broadcaster of India.
