Akshay Kumar’s upcoming movie “Toilet-Ek Prem Katha” is based on the concept of providing proper sanitation in all homes. Recently Akshay Kumar along with Union Minister Narendra Singh Tomar had visited Regva village to promote the concept of cleanliness under the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan mission. While addressing the villagers, he had said,”Our villages will become clean and healthy if we develop habit of using toilets at home.”
Recently, while stressing on the importance of health and hygiene Akshay had also posted a six-minute video titled “Soch Aur Shauch” on Twitter. He also said that “Friends, ‘Swachh Bharat’ is only possible when ‘ghar’ is swachh and ladies of our family are healthy.”
He also revealed his thoughts about the effort he is putting in this direction saying: “I initially wondered if I should talk about this, as I knew many would point out that I am doing this video only for the publicity of my upcoming film. And, you are right. I am doing this film ‘Toilet Ek Prem Katha’, and I do want as much publicity as possible for this particular topic.”
