The Director General of Military Operations (DGMO) Ranbir Singh on Thursday made the big reveal that following the Uri attack and the shock wave it sent across the Indian territory, a surgical strike was conducted by the Indian Army and significant casualties, which are the sole purpose of such attacks seem to have been reported. The strikes were carried out on terror launch pads on the LoC.

Meanwhile, Pakistan claimed that the ‘surgical strikes’ were a farce. The Pakistan army has totally dismissed the claims that the Indian military conducted ‘surgical strikes’ against ‘terrorist units’ on its side of the border in Kashmir. Claiming such reports as baseless, Pakistan has called the rebranding of cross-border firing as a ‘fabrication of truth’. Criticising Pakistan’s stance on this and extending his support to PM Modi, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal shared a video on his Twitter handle. Here’s what he says in the video:

A few days back, 19 of our soldiers died on the LoC, which was rightfully avenged by our Army when it launched surgical strikes.

I differ on various topics with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, however, the determination shown by him on this deserves appreciation. I salute him for it. Since the day the surgical strikes took place, Pakistan is in shock and it will now resort to dirty politics.

In the last few days, Pakistan is taking international reporters to the LoC to show them that no surgical strikes have taken place. United Nations say that they haven’t observed anything like this on the LoC.

In fact, media channels were also showing that Pakistan ferried various reporters to the LoC to show them that there existed a mundane life on near the border. it was very frustrating to see such reports. Pakistan is trying to blemish the image of India at an international level.

It is my appeal to PM Modi, that the way he along with the security forces have launched this attack on them, they ought to unmask the reality of our neighbouring country and the plans it is making against us. While Pakistan is claiming the surgical strikes a ‘lie’, we need to unmask them. The entire nation is with you on this.

Bharat Mata ki Jai
