The Congress on Thursday demanded the resignation of Union Minister for Oil and Petroleum Dharmendra Pradhan for allegedly taking undue advantage from a prime accused in the Vyapam scam.

“If it is true that Petroleum minister took favours from Vyapam scam accused then he must resign,” said Congress leader Manish Tewari.

On Wednesday, Pradhan had refuted all charges levelled at him by the Congress party, saying his travel documents are well documented and everything is in public domain.

The Congress had also said that in light of these revelations, there was no reason for Dharmendra Pradhan to continue as a Minister.

The country owes a lot to the efforts of Baba Ramdev and Anna Hazare who started the anti corruption movement in 2011 or else our puppet economist would have plunged the nation into an ever spiraling debt like in Greece. Remember India was bankrupt during 1990s. Now Cong is desperately searching for evidences that can link any BJP leader. Photos from marriage reception, eating in restaurant, travel are all examined closely. If they had put the same effort while it was in power then lots of scams would have unearthed
