Veteran journalist Vikramaditya Chandra, today, stepped down from the position of the Group Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Executive Director of NDTV with immediate effect.

Approving the decision by Vikram Chandra, the Board of Directors of New Delhi Television (NDTV), in a press release today said, “Vikram Chandra has been a key member of the NDTV family since 1994, in a large number of roles. He has expressed the wish to return to full time journalism within NDTV and focus on the TV shows of the Group.”
Vikram Chandra had been a part of NDTV since 1994 and and apart from being a reporter, anchor for the channel, he is also one of the co-founders of NDTV.com.
NDTV has appointed KVL Narayan Rao, the Executive Vice-chairperson, as the new Group CEO in addition to his responsibilities as Executive Vice Chairperson. Narayan Rao had been a part of the the news organization for twety two years and had worked in several roles including Group CEO. Rao had also been the board of Indian Broadcasting Foundation (IBF), Vice President of the Commonwealth Broadcasting Association and a Board member of both NBA and IBF
