Bhartiya Janata Party MP Varun Gandhi has declined to comment on Vinay Katiyar’s remark on construction Ram Temple. Varun has said that he is a leader who speaks on the issues of poverty and rural India. “I do the politics of poor and villagers, won’t comment on these issues,” Varun said while being asked about Ram Mandir. Earlier today, BJP MP Vinay Katiyar once raised up the demand to construct Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. The Rajya Sabha MP said that Ram Mandir should be built at the earliest. “Whenever I go to Ayodhya, people ask me questions about building of Ram Temple, good that I didn’t go this time,” Katiyar said earlier today. On Monday, Katiyar said that Government should bring a bill in Parliament to pave way for construction of a Rama Temple. He said that ‘every Ram Bhakt’ wants a grand Ram temple at the earliest.

“It’s not only Swami who is talking about Ram temple, every Ram Bhakt wants a grand Ram temple at the earliest. Till it happens we are not going to sit in peace. The Government should ensure that temple is build the earliest,” Katiyar told reporters here on Monday. Before Katiyar, BJP MP Subhramanian Swamy had also demanded for the construction of a Ram temple. Construction of Ram Temple in Ayodhya has been a hot topic ever since the controversial structure was demolished in 1991. Since the state goes to polls early next year, the issue of Ram Temple is once again in news.
