With another season of HBO series Game of Thrones coming to an end with just one episode to go, the withdrawal symptoms are surfacing on the internet. Fans are coming up with all kind of memes of the epic fantasy-drama to help them survive another year in wait of Season 8. With many Game of Thrones-inspired creative content doing the rounds, a Pakistani parody of the HBO series is going viral. In the parody, video characters can be seen talking in Urdu and Pashto and it is catching the attention of everyone. The video is a mixture of scenes from all the seven seasons that have been aired so far and with it is played classical music in the background which includes two Bollywood scores that will instantly make you feel nostalgic. The video is sure to make the viewers roll on the floor laughing (ROFL).

Meanwhile, HBO’s troubles seem endless. The reputed network has been assaulted repeatedly by multiple hacker groups in the last few weeks. The hackers have targeted Home Box Office by leaking the episodes of their various shows, mainly Game of Thrones season 7’s unaired episode, demanded ransom amounts in several million dollars and hacked their social media accounts. Now, one of the hacker groups, which calls itself ‘Mr Smith’ has approached digital media website, Mashable, and allegedly gave them some information.

HBO has been dealing with anonymous hackers who claim to have stolen 1.5 terabytes of data – including emails, show scripts and unaired episodes of hit series such as Game of Thrones, Ballers and Room 104 — from the company’s servers and have threatened to release it if their ransom demands are not met.

Apart from Game of Thrones, episodes of Curb Your Enthusiasm upcoming season, as well as script summaries of Game of Thrones and one executive’s emails had also been leaked by the hackers.

Good mixing by the Pakistani lads. The only irony was the use of Sitar music in the start of the trailer. That is a hard core Indian instrument. Anyways, the patching was done expertly and was a lot of fun.
