Rahul Gandhi today took on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, claiming the credibility of his government has “eroded” and said he was surprised how this happened “very quickly”.

“It takes two-three-four years for the credibility of a government to decline but I am surprised the BJP government’s credibility has eroded very quickly,” the Congress vice-president said, addressing a rally of party workers in suburban Malad in North Mumbai. The Modi government assumed office on May 26, 2014.

At the rally, Rahul inducted late singer Mohammad Rafi’s son Shahed Rafi into Congress.

The Congress leader also questioned Modi’s silence on problems being faced by the poor. “It is all well to give speeches but Modi is silent on problems faced by the poor”.

Rahul, who is on a two-day visit to Mumbai, also asked partymen to shun internal differences and work unitedly to ensure that Congress comes back to power.

He used the Marathi greeting on Makar Sankranti “Til gul ghya, god god bola” (eat sweets, speak cordially) to appeal to the Congress leaders to put an end to factionalism.

Ask anyone about the situation faced by farmers, he said, adding they will cry while narrating their plight. “You can’t leave the poor people, the hawkers behind”.

“There is talk of ‘start-ups and connect India’. All this is nice but there are poor people, domestic workers. India is theirs also. The government has forgotten them, he said,” he said.

Rahul said Modi spoke of ‘Clean India’ and he and his ministers took up ‘jhadus’ and cleaned the roads but in Mumbai, there are tonnes of solid waste, he said. “You won’t be able to clean Mumbai by speeches and staging events,” he added.

In Uttar Pradesh, many people have demolished toilets built under the Clean India Mission, he said.
The budget of Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation is in thousands of crore but this government gave just Rs 100 crore to make Mumbai a Smart City, Rahul said.

“When we were in power, we gave a city like Nanded Rs 2,000 crore,” he said. Congress will have to get its candidate elected to the post of Mayor in Mumbai if the city is to be developed, he said.

“First we will win Mumbai then the state, and then form government at the Centre,” he added.
Rahul said during his padyatra in Mumbai tomorrow “we will put pressure on the government on the issue of electricity tariff for the poor”.

Rahul is interfering with work of Modi govt but he is not aware with rampant corruption prevailing in Congress ruled states. He is busy in malicious propaa against present govt which is further denting image of Congress party which is most corrupt party which has promoted rampant corruption all over country crippling governance from top to bottom. He should concentrate on eradication of mive corruption prevailing in Congress ruled state and focus on faster development & elimination of poverty in those states rather than indulging in destructive politics. This will establish his credibility in public domain which will help Congress party to regain its past lost glory. Rahul should not note that destructive & negative politics will land him in complete soup and he will never reach to post of PM.

Subject : lllegal Constructions cause : Because Town Planning & PMRDA not allowing sanctioning for plots less than 2000 sq. mtr. in PMRDA area( Outside PMC & PCMC ), Pune, Maharashtra even if plots are in Residential Zone. Dear Sir, There is a very big issue of Illegal Construction and buildings outside PMC & PCMC area ( The area covered under PMRDA - Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority ). The Big Cause of Illegal Construction because of BJP Govt. is not rectifying the clause 13.3.1 , which was mistakenly written in the MRTP DCR which was revised in November 2013. The Building byelaws which was published on 21st November 2013 by GOVERNMENT OF MAHARASHTRA, URBAN DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT, MUMBAI, has mistake in clause no. 13.3.1 Recreational open spaces ( which states that : If such sub-divided holding in revenue/city survey record admeasures less than 0.4 or 0.8 Ha., then 10% open space shall be left which shall not be in any case less than 250 sq.mt. ). That means if a plot is 500 sq. mt. than the land owner have to leave 250 sq. mt.area for open space with minimum width of 10 meter. And only 250 sq.mt. plot is left and after deducting side margins , only small house shall be constructed. And if a plot is 250 sq.mt / 2.5 Guntha nothing can be constructed. **** IF YOU WILL ASK PMRDA OFFICIALS TO SANCTION SMALL PLOTS LESS THAN 2000 SQ. MT./ 20 GUNTHA - They will straight away say no. **** A very BIG ISSUE BJP Govt. is creating by not sanctioning small plots which are in Residential Zone. And hence Illegal Construction / Buildings are in large no. 1) Problem in Clause No. 13.3.1 - Page No. 29 ( In 21st November 2013 DCR - ABC Munil Corporation ) 2) No Problem in Clause No. 3.4.1 - Page No. 57 ( In - D Cl Munil Corporations ) 3) No Problem in Clause No. 13.3.1 - Page No. 193 ( In DC Rules Old Limit PMC ) As stated in No. 1) there is problem for the area which comes under PMRDA. ( For all the land / plot which are outside the PMC & PCMC limits.) Ravinder Singh Rajpurohit Cell No. 09960008880
