On many ideological issues we have criticised the Congress in the past and we will continue to do so wherever we feel that the Congress is not right.

The Chief Minister (CM) of Uttar Pradesh (UP) has today voiced his opinion about Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi’s comment of “Khoon Ki Dalali” by saying that, “when he (Rahul Gandhi) have said it he must have thought something about it.” The CM said this while interating with the press.

Facing flak from various corners across political parties the comment made by Rahul Gandhi sparked of big political debate nationwide. In this regard Gaurav Bhatia, spokesperson of Samajwadi Party (SP) spoke to financial express.

On Akhilesh Yadav’s comment on Rahul Gandhi:

I would say that Akhilesh Yadav has supported the point and concern raised by Rahul Gandhi and the point is, on issues of national security like the surgical strikes, all political parties across party lines supported the ruling government. It is the BJP leaders who politicised the issue for the sake of votes, that was very unfortunate and an insult to the martyrs.

It is the Prime Minister (PM) who had to come out and warn the BJP leaders not to indulge in any kind of chest thumping. It is the government of the day that decides whether it is in the greater national good to make public, such sensitive matters. The government of the day should always keep the nation and national interest first over popularity

On alliance with the Congress in UP elections:

On many ideological issues we have criticised the Congress in the past and we will continue to do so wherever we feel that the Congress is not right.
