JD(U) Chief Nitish Kumar today at an event held at Bihar’s Rajgir had some baleful advice to offer to PM Narendra Modi. Nitish echoing the sentiments of many opposition leaders said that Modi should stop sending love letters to Pakistan.

Ever since Uri Army base was attacked by militants killing 18 Army men, India has been reeling under fury. On September 29, the Indian Army carried surgical strikes across seven prominent terror pads across LoC but the Modi government has been hugely criticised for walking away with all the credit that was rightfully due for Indian Army.

About the same, Nitish, known for not mincing his words said that the PM has full support in each and every step that is taken against Pakistan but seeking political opportunism in the surgical strikes should be avoided.

“Take whatever action’s required against Pakistan. Stop writing love letters (to Islamabad), we as a nation are behind you,” Nitish said.

But not just to show faith in the government, he had some advice to offer to the PM as well. He added ”Please remember you are the PM of the nation and act as the leader of nation not just your party BJP.”

The same advice has been coming from many opposition leaders while some including Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal also asked for the proofs of the strike.
