Five stocks that may remain in focus today:

Adani Ports: Gautam Adani-led Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone (APSEZ) on Wednesday said it has received Kerala government’s nod for developing the Rs 4,089-crore Vizhinjam International Deepwater Seaport project.

Bharti Airtel: Bharti Airtel on Wednesday launched 4G trials for its customers in the twin cities of Huballi and Dharwad in north Karnataka. As part of the trial offer, Airtel customers in Hubli-Dharwad can now avail a complimentary upgrade to Airtel 4G at 3G prices and experience the speed. At 9.57 am, the company’s shares were down 0.08 per cent at a price of Rs 422.35.

Tata Steel: A major dispute at the UK arm of Tata Steel ended after all the four trade unions accepted the proposals for changes to the British Steel Pension Scheme. At 9.59 am the shares were up 1.18 per cent at a price of Rs 284.00.

Biocon: Biocon Ltd has set the price band for an initial public offering (IPO) of its clinical research services arm, Syngene International Ltd, at Rs 240 to Rs 250 a share. Syngene’s IPO shall open for subscription on July 27 and close on July 29.

Thermax: Thermax has acquired 33 per cent stake in First Energy, an alternative energy solutions company, to expand green offerings.
