The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will announce the results for the sub-inspector in central police organisations (SI/CPO) recruitment examination 2017 on September 9. Candidates can check their results by visiting the official website, after the links are activated. The commission had conducted the examination between July 11 and July 27. SSC has also declared that the final result for previous year’s SI/CPO paper will be declared on September 8, as per Hindustan Times.

SSC took the examination for filling 786 sub inspector posts for male and female candidates and 563 assistant sub inspector (ASI) executive posts in the Delhi Police, Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF). There are two phases in the examination. Paper 1 was computer based with 200 questions which candidates had 2 hours to answer. The second paper will be held on October 8 for candidates who have cleared paper 1.

Here are the steps to check SSC SI CPO result 2017:

1. Visit the official website ssc.nic.in
2. Then click the link ‘Declaration of SI/CPO Paper-I result, 2017’
3. A pdf page will be downloaded.
4. Now, candidates can check their name on the list and save the file for future reference.

The commission will conduct the Paper II exam on October 8. The exam will be held for two hours and carry 200 marks. Questions from English language and comprehension are asked in the examination. This paper will check candidate’s understanding and knowledge of English language and will be based on error recognition, filling in the blanks, vocabulary, spellings, grammar, sentence structure, synonyms, antonyms etc.
