The Supreme Court today issued notices to Lalu Yadav’s son and Bihar health minister Tej Pratap Yadav and RJD’s convicted strongman Mohammad Shahabuddin in connection with the murder of Siwan journalist Rajdeo Ranjan. While Shahabuddin is a accused in the case, Tej Pratap was issued notice for allegedly protecting a henchman of Shahabuddin, Mohammad Kaif, who allegedly killed the journalist. The SC has given both of them reply within 2 weeks time to submit their replies. The apex court today also decided to monitor the CBI probe into the journalist’s murder.
