Days after Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal advised the Centre to come out with proof of the recent surgical strikes launched by the Indian army in the Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK), a short film taking a dig at him, has been released.
The film which has been made by V Seven Pictures has called him Vibhishan, Lord Ram’s brother who’s fighting against him in current-day Ramayana. For the makers of the film, Pakistan is Raavan, Indian Army is Lord Ram and Arvind Kejriwal is Vibhishan.
Movie shows two Indian soldiers shooting down couple of terrorists and one soldier telling the other that they should carry dead bodies back to their post as an evidence for all those asking for it.
It attacks Arvind Keriwal directly, referring to him as the “muffler-topi waala” Vibhishan and say that on Dussehra, Vibhishan’s effigy will be burnt before Raavan’s.
After the army had announced its surgical strikes against terrorists camps in PoK, he along with few other political leaders had asked for proof of the operation.
Arvind Kejriwal has been on the wrong foot since then, with several users in social media platforms has been criticising him.
Even after such demands coming from some quarters the government has till now refused to come out of the surgical strikes video, due to security concerns.
In the meantime, with Assembly Polls in Uttar Pradesh scheduled to be held early next year, the BJP has also tried to use the action by the army as a tool to woe voters.
