A shocking case has come to the fore. The case pertains to the looted and snatched mobile phones. A case has come to light which suggests that a mobile phone that was snatched in Noida earlier, has been reportedly traced all the way to Pakistan, according to a report in Dainik Jagran. This mobile was snatched a year ago from a software engineer in Noida Sector 62.

What is the entire matter?

His phone was looted a year ago from Noida Sec 62. He had an Apple iPhone. As soon as the new SIM was inserted into the snatched Apple iPhone, a message came to the engineer from whom the phone was looted in Noida Sec 62. He got a message that phone is now being operated in Pakistan’s Karachi. The engineer then gave this information to the local police in Noida. After this, the information was passed on to security agencies. Now, Noida Police has sent a report to Foreign Ministry seeking a probe into the matter. Once the final report comes, only then it will be clear how this iPhone reached Pakistan.

How his phone was snatched in Noida Sec 62

One Siddharth Kumar was studying software engineering at JP institute in Sec 62. In April 2017, he was talking to someone over his Apple iPhone, and all of a sudden two bike-borne criminals pointed a gun at him and snatched his iPhone. He filed an FIR at Sec 58 police station and got the SIM deactivated from the network provider. And, now Siddharth received a message on his mobile and he got to know that his iPhone is now in Pakistan’s Karachi.

Noida Police tried to gather information about the person who is using mobile in Pakistan, but cellular companies said they are not in a position to share information about Pakistan’s number. After this, Noida Police sought help from the External Affairs ministry.

Police and security agencies suspect that terror outfits have collaborated with phone looters in India, and the terrorists might use these looted cell phones to carry out terror attacks in India.
