After Bollywood actor Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar and Aamir Khan’s video posted on twitter sending messages to the Indian Army soldiers, Bollywood ‘badshah’ Shah Rukh Khan has written and recorded a message in the form of a poem, dedicated to the Army, supporting Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s initiative, #Sandesh2 Soldiers.
The superstar had, on Sunday, shared the video on social media platform, Twitter, with a caption that read, “Wishing everyone a Happy Diwali. May the festival of lights bring with it brightness and goodness in all our lives. Be safe and enjoy. I sent my #Sandesh2Soldiers. This Diwali let us all remember our soldiers!”

Days back, the Prime Minister had launched an campaign where he urged people from across the nation to send Diwali messages to the Indian Army soldiers fighting along the Line of Control (LoC) and International Border (IB) against the Pakistan army and terrorism.
With thousands of wishes pouring for the soldiers from across the country, the Bollywood spuerstar’s tweet where he recites a self written poem, appreciating the Army’s courage and valour, marks as a special one of all.
Here’s the complete text Shah Rukh tweeted:
“I’ve written a little poem for them. Hope it reaches them. Our feet on
Our feet on carpet, their boots on ground.
Our days are steady, theirs, new challenges unravel.
Our nights blissful, theirs, stressful.
It’s our life to live because it’s theirs to give.
The heroes should not remain unsung because we can’t imagine their plight.
We grow stronger and bolder because theirs is the fight.
The fight of a soldier.”
