Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain on Monday broke his silence following AAP leader Kapil Mishra’s allegations against him. Speaking to reporters, Jain said that there was a ‘limit to lying’ and that he was not even present at Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s residence on Friday, May 5. The Health Minister claimed that he could prove the same in many ways. Satyendar Jain said that Mishra had lost his ‘mental balance’ and was making baseless allegations. He asked Mishra to show the papers if his claims were true. Earlier today, Kapil Mishra addressed a press conference and made a series of allegations against Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal and Health Minister Satyendar Jain.
Speaking to reporters, Mishra accused Jain of settling a Rs 50 crore deal for Kejriwal’s brother in law. Mishra said that in a private conversation, Jain had admitted having cut the deal for a 60-acre plot for just Rs 50 crore in Chattarpur, New Delhi. Mishra said that he would be meeting with the CBI at 11:30 in the morning on Tuesday and submit the concerned papers in a sealed envelope. He also informed that he would be filing a FIR and will be standing as a witness.
The former Delhi cabinet minister also directed the Aam Aadmi Party leaders to sack him. Speaking to reporters, he said, “PAC meeting would take place at 7 today. I dare them (leaders) to sack me from the party. I am getting threats and messages on phone.” On allegations of colluding with the BJP, Mishra said that he was the one AAP leader who had always taken the strongest stand against the BJP or PM Modi’s policies. Earlier on Sunday, Mishra had alleged Kejriwal of receiving Rs 2 crore from Satyendar Jain. He had also said that Kejriwal had tried to protect Sheila Dikshit in the Rs 400 crore tanker scam.
