Soon after the shocking news of a 7-year-old child being murdered in the toilet of Gurugram’s Ryan International School this morning was announced, hundreds of other worried parents immediately rushed to pick up their children and barged into the school building. Some of them even threw the furniture around, shattered the glass and chanted slogan against the school until they were cleared out by the police force. While the entire school staff is clueless about the incident, parents are blaming the school authorities for the incident. Speaking to ANI, Neerja Batra, the caretaker of Ryan International School said, “We don’t know what exactly happened. As soon as we came to know about the, we rushed him to hospital.” However, expressing their anger over the incident, parents are sitting in protest at the police commissioner’s office. Cars of school teachers were also attacked, said News 18.
Speaking to Indian Express, the father of the dead child said, “It is a clear case of murder, don’t know what happened but I am sure it’s murder.” Ravinder Kumar, PRO Gurgaon Police said, “The students alerted the teachers and the school management then informed police, who rushed him to Artemis Hospital. He was declared brought dead by doctors”. A police team, including forensic experts, is currently probing the case and has collected blood samples and fingerprints from the scene. “A knife with blood stains was also recovered from the spot,” Kumar said.

The body of a class II student with his throat slit was found inside the toilet of the school located at Bhondsi in Gurugram on Friday morning. The student has been identified as Pradhuman Thakur. Police officers have questioned the staff, teachers and Pradyuman’s classmates and are hoping for some clue from CCTV camera in the corridor outside the toilet.
