Even as it still remains unclear whether superstar Rajinikanth will enter politics or not, former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister O Panneerselvam said his AIADMK camp welcomes the entry of the actor into politics, ANI said. “He (Rajinikanth) is a very good person, we welcome his entry into politics”, the former state CM was quoted as saying by the news agency.

A few days back, Swamy had attacked Rajinikanth on reports of the later joining politics. As per India Today report, the BJP leader advised the superstar to stay out of politics, adding that ‘Rajini’s sense of politics is very bad’, and went on to say that the actor is ‘not well educated.’ Today, Swamy even called him a ‘scatterbrain’ on live TV.

The actor had on Thursday refrained from answering any political questions including speculation over his possible political plunge. “Please don’t ask political questions,” he said when reporters asked him about his recent comments on entering politics, according to PTI report. However, like yesterday, on Friday too Rajinikanth left it unclear whether he will some day take that decsiion to enter politics. He, however, did highlight his Tamilian roots in a possible attempt to claim the son-of-the-soil advantage.
