Rahul Gandhi Himachal Pradesh rally LIVE updates: Kicking off the party’s election campaign, Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi today addressed, ‘Vikas se Vijay Ki Aur’ rally in Mandi district of Himachal Pradesh. Taking a dig at PM Modi, Gandhi said Himachal Pradesh Himachal Pradesh way ahead of Gujarat in job creation. Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh has claimed that the rally would be bigger than that of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s in Bilaspur. The rally will take place amid infighting between Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh and state unit chief Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu. Referring to Anurag Thakur’s comments that the Congress loses the election wherever Gandhi goes, Singh said making remarks to mislead people was part of the BJP leader’s style. Asha Kumari, Himachal Pradesh lawmaker has said “We hope Rahulji’s rally will set the tone for the coming polls and the return of the Congress,” as per The New Indian Express. Rahul Gandhi is expected to take on Prime Minister Narendra Modi government on economic issues like GST and unemployment. As the BJP is stepping up attack on the Congress on alleged corruption charges on Virbhadra Singh, Rahul Gandhi is not very keen on going ahead with Virbhadra as the party’s chief ministerial face, as per India Today. However, the final decision will be taken by the party high command.

Can you explain why countries like Japan and China are way ahead of India in development? The reason is simple - they were not ruled and looted by Congress for 60 years.

The people must be careful in voting to different parties. The past performance, results, communal harmony, nationalist view etc must be carefully examined. The non-performing and corrupt parties like Congress and regional parties controlled by an individual must be discarded who are responsible for the colossal loss to the economy of our country resulted in acute poverty, backwardness and rampant corruption all over the country. Otherwise, the people will face more serious problems in future.

            Repe ion of same statement 2-3 times doesn't make difference. झूठ को जोर जोर से और दो चार बोलने से वह सच नहीं हो जाता.

Well said Hari. People should first ask a simple question on why our country has not developed to its fullest potential over the 60 years of congress rule. They should clearly understand appea t and vote bank politics in the name of secularism.
