Facing flak for his ‘Khoon ki Dalali’ comment on surgical strikes, Rahul Gandhi on Friday said he has “unequivocally” supported the military action but is against the use of army in political posters and propaganda by BJP.

“I fully support the surgical strikes and I have said so unequivocally, but I will not support using the Indian Army in political posters and propaganda all across the country,” the Congress vice president said in a series of tweets. Taking a jibe at him BJP MP Subramanian Swamy said, “Rahul Gandhi either has had no education or should get a mental check up done for using these words against the PM.”

On Thursday, Rahul had hit out at Prime Minister Modi accusing him of “hiding behind the blood of soldiers” and said that he was politically exploiting their sacrifices.

Condemning Rahul Gandhi for his comments, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said, “I strongly condemn what Rahul Gandhi said about our jawans, this is a matter in which we all need to stand united. Such words (dalali) should not have been used by Rahul Gandhi. These are the times for us unite & stand along army.”

Terming the Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi as an ‘immature leader’, the BJP said the former made a joke out of the slain soldiers of Indian Army by saying that the surgical strike was nothing but ‘Khoon ki holi.’ “I am really astonished by the kind of language Rahul Gandhi has used for the Indian Government and the Indian Prime Minister. By saying that the surgical strike and the aftermath was nothing but ‘khoon ki holi’, he had in fact made the joke out of the martyred brave soldiers and Indian Army,” said BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra. Patra further said that Gandhi is an immature leader and his immaturity provided a handle to Pakistan today to accused India.

Meanwhile, Congress leader Digvijay Singh lashed out at the BJP leadership, alleging that they were touting the surgical strike on terror launchpads along the LoC as if they did it themselves instead of the army men. “Modi Amit Shah Parrikar and BJP Leaders are going around as if they have done the Surgical Strike! Give our Army & our Braveheart the Credit,” Singh tweeted.

Look who is speaking? Kejriwal advising RaGa on what is appropriate and inappropriate language against the PM of the country. What is the time in a country when it is appropriate to call the PM of the country a psychopath?

If you want to be charitable, Rahul is an . Frankly, hi family is anti-national. To get into power, it has supported jihadism. It has used its position to loot the country. I do not mind such statements from Rahul. They should be and are being given wide coverage. This will ensure a Congress mukt India. As to Kejriwal, he resembles Rahul in many ways. Selfish, will do anything for power, anti-national, etc. But I think he is more dangerous as Rahul is an but Kejri is an intelligent person. An intelligent ani-national is more dangerous than an anti-national.
