Rahul Gandhi attacks Sangh: Constitution says one man one vote but RSS wants to change that

Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi today attended the Janata Dal (United) leader Sharad Yadav's meet with opposition leaders in Delhi.

Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi today attended the Janata Dal (United) leader Sharad Yadav’s meet with opposition leaders in Delhi. While addressing the gathering, Gandhi launched an attack on PM Narendra Modi led-Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government at Centre and the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). He said, “the Narendra Modi government is imposing RSS ideology in every institution of the country.” He added, “RSS says India belongs to them and not to the countrymen. They have told this to Dalits in Gujarat.” Continuing the attack on BJP-RSS, he said, “According to RSS, the country belongs to 15-20 industrialists. India will be run by these 15-20 people. They will promote PM Narendra Modi’s marketing strategy.” He further said, “the Constitution says one man one vote but RSS wants to change the Constitution.” Rahul Gandhi also said, “RSS did not salute the tricolor till the time they did not rule the country.”

While taking a jibe at PM Narendra Modi’s Make in India initiative, Gandhi said, “Modi ji gave ‘Make In India’ but I mainly find things that are ‘Made in China’. Truth is that Modi Ji’s Make In India has failed.” Gandhi then turned his focus towards the media people who were attending the event. He asked them not to fear PM Narendra Modi and to publish news fearlessly.

Veteran JD(U) leader Sharad Yadav is holding a meeting with leaders of other opposition parties today in Delhi known and the event is being called as the ‘Sanjhi Virasat Bachao’ event. Top leaders of the Congress, the Left, Samajwadi Party, BSP, TMC and other parties opposed to the BJP are attending the program which is being seen as Yadav’s show of strength against his party chief Nitish Kumar’s decision to ally with the BJP.
