The price of subsidised LPG was today hiked by Rs 2.07 per cylinder, while the jet feul was cut by 3. 7 percent. Prices of jet fuels were also cut by 3.7 percent. As per oil companies prices of subsidised gas cylinders have been increased by Rs 2.07, while the prices of non subsidised ones have been increased by Rs 54.50.
Since July 1, this is the seventh occasion when the price of the LPG has been increased. The government is increasing the prices of LPG cylinders every months by Rs 2. Apart from this on Ooctober 28, prices were also increased by Rs 1.50 in the form of dealer commission, a report by patrika.com has said.
The prices of non subsidised cylinders have also been raised at least four succcessive times, by at lest Rs 118. On November 1, prices of each non subsidised cylinders were raised by Rs 37.50.
As per the Indian Oil Corporation (IOC), from today prices of jet fuel will be Rs 48, 379.63 from earlier Rs 50, 260.63 earlier. Earlier prices of fuel prices had been increased twice in October 1 and November 1 respectively. On October 1 price was raised to Rs 3,434.25, while on November 1, it was raised to Rs 1,415.20.
