Ahead of Arvind Kejriwal’s rally in Gujarat’s Surat, a poster war has broke out between Aam Aadmi Party and BJP in the state. AAP workers in the state are blaming the ruling BJP for maligning Kejriwal’s image through crass language, while the BJP has denied putting any posters. Meanwhile, Patidar Anamat Andolan Samiti (PAAS) leaders have also denied of having any role in such antics and say that they will not even oppose Kejriwal during his public meeting scheduled on October 16. Earlier, AAP workers had put up posters of Kejriwal’s public meeting initially in Patidar dominated areas of Puna, Yogi Chowk , Mota Varachha and other parts.

Through the posters, AAP appealed people to attend Kejriwal’s public meeting in large numbers, scheduled on October 16 at Yogi Chowk. However, over the last few days, some other posters, allegedly put up by BJP workers, have come up in city stating that Kejriwal was a Pakistani agent. One of the posters, put up in a society, warned Kejriwal of coming to the area, it read: “All the houses in this place belong to Bhartiya Janata Party, there is no place for Kejriwal.
