Prime Minister Narendra Modi helped a Muslim girl from Karnataka’s Mandya to continue her education. The concerned girl, B B Sara, who is also an MBA student had earlier written to the Prime Minister asking for financial assistance in order to complete her education. Sara, a resident of Mandya had earlier applied for a loan from the Central Bank of India so that she could complete her education from the PES college. He father had not received his salary since last 8 months and she had to pay her tuition fees in the college.
The Central Bank of India had rejected her application stating that she had not even paid the loans that had been taken earlier. After running around the bank and its authorities for days, Sara and her father Abdul had written to Prime Minister Narendra Modi asking for his help and intervention in this matter, to which the Prime Minister’s office had replied without wasting any time. After she received the reply she was given a loan from Vijaya Bank within a time period of 10 days. According to Jansatta, the manager of Vijaya Bank said that Sara’s father had reached out to them with the latter from PMO, following which they did a background check on her and found her eligible to apply for an education loan.
