Prime Minister Narendra Modi took stock of Delhi polls and discussed the political situation in Bihar at a meeting with top Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders at his residence this evening.

BJP President Amit Shah and senior Union Ministers Arun Jaitley, Rajnath Singh, Sushma Swaraj and Nitin Gadkari, besides party general secretary (Organisation) Ram Lal attended the meeting.

Sources said Modi took stock of the polling pattern in Delhi assembly polls and discussed the party’s prospects.

BJP is confident of bagging a majority to form its government in Delhi, after a high-decibel campaign in the national capital where the Prime Minister addressed four rallies and the party put in all its might to take on Arvind Kejriwal-led Aam Aadmi Party.

Modi is also learnt to have discussed the emerging political situation in Bihar where the party is keen to wrest power.

The meeting with the Prime Minister came soon after Amit Shah held discussions with party leaders from Bihar at his residence.

BJP leaders say they are keeping a close watch on the political developments in Bihar where Nitish Kumar has been elected as the JD-U Legislature Party leader, replacing Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi.

Modi has to recapture his magic. He lost it. High rhetoric with anger was fine against high corruption and arrogance as displa by congress. A more moderate tone and demeanor are desired generally. Pls do not indulge in roadside tactics of talking loose about opponents. Give respect and you will also get acceptance. Please show austerity. What happened to your half sleeve kurtas in cotton? Pls auction that named pinstripe and donate to a charity. If you can meet even foreign dignitaries in your desi standard dress, you will be reflecting nationalism. Pls open your mouth and condemn the excesses your parivaar indulges in. Instead of adding more and more dreams to the list of unfulfilled dreams start showing results. If there are 10 dreams expressed, do not talk of a 11th till the 1st has been achieved and closed. Earn a name as a closer / finisher. To day you are a g dreamer, and glib talker. Pls introspect and change. Don't gag your ministers. If they talk positive, eschew arrogance, and focus on real performance in their talks, it will be better than remain a team of Moun Mohans. You are also a Moun Mohan when it comes to talking about what you really achieved against promises. Your talks are mostly new dreams and arrogant attacks on individuals / certain communities. Pls change. We may like you better that way.
