Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday said that it was “utterly shameful” that PM Narendra Modi’s picture was being used by a private firm for its advertisement. In a tweet, he said “Utterly shameful. Do people want their PM to model for private companies? “Tomorrow, if these companies do wrongdoings, who will act against them?”He also raised question on PM Modi in another tweet. He wrote, “Paytm biggest beneficiary of PM’s announcement. Next day PM appears in its ads. Whats the deal, Mr PM?”

The tweet came in the wake of full page advertisements of Paytm with Narendra Modi’s picture on them post the announcement that Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 notes will not stand as legal tender any longer. The announcement, according to the Prime Minister was made to combat the problem of black money India has long been facing. However, many people have showed concern over the decision and have claimed that the decision overlooks the situation of people who do not yet have enough documents to open a bank account. Paytm, which started as an online payment firm saw a 435% increase in overall traffic within hours of PM Modi’s announcement.

It's shameful that this yup pursue can only find faults like RG with whatever Modi does.. These people are suffering from # Modiphobia and I hope they don't get well soon, keep criticizing him exposing themselves.. Nothing less than suicidal for them... YUGPURUSH could not tweet nice things about such a great move but waited for next day ads and criticized it.. Biggest beneficiary is Paytm it seems... For me, Indians are biggest beneficiaries of this move and he is scared such things make Modi's position more concrete as PM which must be scaring wrong people like AK RG & Co

So what ? Mr Kejriwal ? You came to politics as an icon who will root out corruption. But what you are now. You are protecting your samagotris, the perfect "le de ke kAm nipTAne wAlA"s. You are a bogey. You used politics of corruption to help these people.

Mr.Kejriwal, go and see the comments by Madras HC which refused to stay the demonetization requested by a PIL and instead HC lauded Govt's efforts to curb the black money. AK you are exposing your true colours. W country knows, forget Paytm, any Tom, and Harry can give congratulatory message with PM's photo. May be you are worried that your black money supply for funding elections is stopped. I never thought in my life, you would stoop such low levels of morality.

Mr.Kejriwal, Life is not always about deals, just because someone earns respect, you dont need to feel jealous. Work hard to serve people to earn the respect instead of endlessly criticizing the PM and making abusive comments. People who have elected you have lost respect for you due to your cry baby atude and endless criticism and holier than thou atude. It is still not too late for you to mend your ways.
