Soon after the significant success at the civilian nuclear deal agreement, India move towards yet another bilateral talks, this time with Israel. President Reuven Rivlin along with a delegation of leading agriculture, defence and university figures arrived New Delhi yesterday with a focus on binding agricultural ties between the two countries. Currently India and Isreal shares an excellent relation by some momentous ties in the areas of science and technology, research and innovation, commerce, tourism, education etc.

After a Ceremonial Reception at the Rashtrapati Bhawan, the visiting President visited Rajghat for wreath laying at the Memorial of Mahatma Gandhi. Post his Rajghat visit, PM Narendra Modi met President Rivlin at the Hyderabad House and both are currently addressing the press conference.

Here is are some major takeaways from their speech:

i. The event started with the exchange of agreements between India and Israel.

ii. PM Modi welcomed Isreal President Reuven Rivlin and his team.
