On its 24th anniversary, Jet Airways announces special fares, offers 24 pct discount on base fare

Jet Airways, which is celebrating its 24th anniversary starting Friday, has announced special anniversary fares on both domestic and international flights.

Jet Airways, which is celebrating its 24th anniversary starting Friday, has announced special anniversary fares on both domestic and international flights. As part of its new offer, economy and premiere guests will be offered a flat discount of 24 percent on base fare, which is applicable on all international destinations in its network, the premium service airliner said in a statement. For domestic travellers too, a similar offer has been extended to everyone travelling economy on select places in airline’s network of 45 domestic destinations.

Offers will be available for those individuals travelling on direct flights on Jet Aiways’ domestic and international network. Bookings are available on first come first serve basis. Reservations made under the offer will have a travel validity starting from June 16.

Jayaraj Shanmugam, Chief Commercial Officer, Jet Airways, said in its statement, “Our 24th-anniversary special airfare promotion is our way of thanking the travelling public for their 24 years of patronage. We are proud to celebrate over two decades of service excellence. This milestone would not have been possible without the support, trust and confidence of the millions of guests who have flown with us.”

Offers from various airlines have been launched over the last month. AirAsia India had reduced ticket prices for flyers on flights to Chandigarh, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Goa, Jaipur, Visakhapatnam, and Pune, to as low as Rs 1,099. The offer was available for the limited period between September 5, 2017, to February 8, 2018, bookings for which stopped on on April 30.

The fares for New Delhi-Srinagar and New Delhi-Bagdogra routes was reduced starting from Rs 1,699 and Rs 2, 499 respectively. Same way, the ticket prices from Bengaluru to Pune and Visakhapatnam started from Rs 1,499. It kept fares from Bengaluru to New Delhi at Rs 2,999 during the given period.
