Former Jammu and Kashmir CM Omar Abdullah has lashed out at the all-party resolution adopted by the all-party delegation which visited Kashmir. Abdullah took to the twitter to vent out his dissatisfaction with the delegation. “I’m struggling to find a single achievement that the all-party delegation can lay claim to after visiting J&K. Nothing comes to mind as yet!”. Commenting further, the former CM said the resolution was “tame and sterile” and the delegation members could have done that without wasting time and money on Kashmir visit. If all they had to do was issue this tame & sterile appeal they could very easily have done so without wasting the time & money on a visit.

Members of the all-party delegation, who visited Jammu and Kashmir, have unanimously prepared a statement, Jitendra Singh, Minister of State, PMO, said today after the meeting of the leaders was over. Singh said that the members of the delegation feel that there is no place for violence in a civilised society and there can be no compromise on national sovereignty.
Talking to reporters, Singh said that the members of the delegation have asked Centre and the state government to take steps to ensure that educational institutions, government offices and commercial establishments start functioning normally in the valley.
