Post India’s surgical strike across the LoC on Pakistan’s terrorist launch pads, Pakistan is baffled and in constant denial of the strike. While the nation has been lauding PM Narendra Modi and government for the apt action, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal’s statement seeking proof of the strike has been received harshly.
Arvind Kejriwal who had released a video on Monday praising the will of Modi for taking such an action, he also added that he would like to see the proof that the strike has been conducted. This did not go down well with BJP. On Tuesday, BJP leader Ravi Shankar Prasad thrashed Kejriwal for his stance and said that he has made himself the headline of Pakistani media. Prasad said that Kejriwal shouldn’t say or do things that belittle the valour and leadership of our Forces.
Echoing Ravi Shankar’s thoughts, Union Minister M Venkaiah Naidu today said that though we (India) never want any war or quarrel with anybody, but if somebody provokes us we give them a befitting reply like our jawans did.
On Kejriwal’s remark, Naidu added that there is no need to respond to such irresponsible comments and demands. He said ”I don’t think any other Indian citizen has any doubt about the credentials and commitment of our Indian army.”
Kejriwal in his defence had yesterday said that his statements are being twisted for political agendas.
