‘My CM is fine’: AIADMK starts campaign against Jayalalithaa’s health rumours

In order to put a 'full stop to rumours', Tamil Nadu CM P Jayalalithaa's party AIADMK has now started an online campaign. The campaign intends to bring a halt to all the rumours that have been cumulating wrongly about the CM's health.

In order to put a ‘full stop to rumours’, Tamil Nadu CM P Jayalalithaa’s party AIADMK has now started an online campaign. The campaign intends to bring a halt to all the rumours that have been cumulating wrongly about the CM’s health.

Jayalalithaa was hospitalised on September 22 at Chennai’s Apollo hospital following complaints of dehyderation and fever. As the period prolonged, rumours of all kind started spreading and in order to bring transparency to them all, AIADMK has come up with the ‘My CM is fine’ campaign.

The party also published a Press release stating the current status of Jayalalithaa’s medical condition.

The party, from its official Twitter handle urged all the followers to change their profile pictures with the caption ‘My CM is fine. No more rumours’.

According to the latest medical bulletins, Jayalalithaa’s condition is improving and necessary respiratory support, antibiotics, nutrition, supportive therapy & passive physiotherapy are being given to her. The Tamil Nadu leader was visited by Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi earlier this week. Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan and Kiran Bedi also paid the CM a visit at the hospital.
