As the gnawing pain of losing her father continues to pierce her heart, BSF head constable Prem Sagar’s daughter on Tuesday sought retribution for the supreme sacrifice made by the braveheart, according to ANI report. “Got no information from the administration about his death; want 50 heads for his sacrifice,” says Saroj even as the family is mourning the demise of the jawan, as per ANI report. Sagar was one of the two soldiers who was beheaded by Pakistani forces in the Poonch sector. It has been learned that mortal remains of soldiers were being taken to Jammu, the report says. Mother of Hemraj, who lost life in 2013, also vented anger following the incident. “When my son’s body was mutilated, the government said 10 heads will be brought for 1. It’s time for decisive war,” she was quoted as saying by ANI. Outraged over the shameful act, politicos as well commoners across the country are demanding that stringent action must be taken to avenge the incident.
Yesterday’s beheading of two security men by Pakistan’s special forces along the Line of Control is the third such incident in the past six months. Army sources said that two similar incidents had taken place last October and November. Both the incidents had taken place in Machil area on the Line of Control, leaving two soldiers dead. The sources said, 65 ceasefire violations have taken place this year, including five in Krishna Ghati sector and 40 in Nowshera. So far, the security forces killed 42 terrorists, including eight in counter-infiltration operations and 34 in city areas of Jammu and Kashmir, the PTI report said.

Time has come to “smash the head” of Pakistan, the VHP had said as it announced a nation-wide protest by its youth wing Bajrang Dal against mutilation of two Indian soldiers and anti-national activities in Kashmir. Demanding stern action against the stone-pelters in Kashmir, Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) spokesperson Vinod Bansal said “These stone-pelters and those who are backing them should be dealt with in the same way as those who attack the army”, as per the PTI report.
Urging the government to give free hand to Indian soldiers after mutilation of its two jawans, he said that its high time when the government should take a decisive action against Pakistan. “Time has come to smash the head of Pakistan, otherwise such incidents will continue to happen,” Bansal said, the PTI report said.
Army Chief General Bipin Rawat reached Srinagar and took stock of the security situation, on a day Pakistani troops beheaded two Indian soldiers after crossing the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch sector, the PTI report said.
