Delhi MCD elections are not far away and incumbent BJP and its bitter rival AAP led by Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal are gearing up to take control of prestigious EDMC, NDMC and SDMC. BJP is the ruling party in MCDs and would like to retain power to send a strong message to AAP. Arvind Kejriwal, on the other hand, is seeking to make inroads into the civic bodies, to shrug off AAP’s poor performances in Punjab and Goa assembly elections.
