Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief Mayawati is not happy with BJP’s decision of suspending its its Uttar Pradesh unit Vice-President Dayashankar Singh for six years. Mayawati on Thursday slammed BJP and said that sacking is not enough. “Removing from party is a normal process. It would have been better if they (BJP) had registered FIR against him,” said Mayawati.
“If BJP leaders themselves filed an FIR against Dayashankar Singh, then they would have won my heart,” she added. BJP on Wednesday suspended Daya Shankar Singh for six years following his alleged obscene comments on Mayawati. Post his comment, in a swift move, BJP removed Dayashankar Singh from his position of BJP’s UP Vice President and at night he was expelled from the party.
