Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched his ambitious housing scheme known as the ‘Pradhan Mantri Gramin Awas Yojna’ in Agra, today on November 20. The PMGAY is a flagship scheme by PM Modi, which is aimed at providing houses to the rural poor, the people living below the poverty line by the end of the year 2022. PM Modi will also distribute allotment letters to 50 beneficiaries, in a bid to provide about 3 crore new housing units all over the country. PM Modi will be addressing a big gathering of BJP supporters in the afternoon and will eventually begin the BJP campaign for the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections, scheduled in 2017.

There is a change that the PM will have to face some public outrage regarding the demonetisation issue. Following the government’s decision to ban Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes, people have been queueing at banks, ATMs and post offices. While the decision might be the positive factor in the elections as it addresses the black money issue, yet such public inconvenience can go against the BJP too. Meanwhile, there has been reportedly some resistance from the minority committees in the areas as well.

PM Narendra Modi in Agra said that all your sacrifice won’t go in vain. “I had said that inconvenience is going to happen, but I want to commend the people who, despite all that, are supporting.”

“I launched Jan Dhan Yojna so that poor people can open a bank account, ” PM Modi said.

PM Modi says that he will inaugurate the scheme on the land of Agra.

On the Patna-Indore train derailment, PM Modi said that the government will investigate into the matter.

Sir the economists are saying out of 100 currency notes 86 are 1000&500 notes only. Then lot of questions arising here.1. What happens if the contribution of 1000&500 notes reaches 100% or more.2.why demonetisation has not done when the 1000/500 notes reached 50% & more.who are responsible then?

19-11- 2016 The changing of old currency has made people suffer a lot and some people died for standing in ques. It is only common people are suffering. This is mainly due to criminals and corrupt. There is no wonder corrupt and criminals are in politics also, supporting fake money due to elections to get elected. It is high time character and antecedents are verified for all members and workers of political parties by a neutral agency and ban such people. This is my frank view after seeing the way in which political parties and candidates behave. As per today's news paper one ex politician murdered another politician in Karnataka Bangalore. There is no wonder such politicians are in other places. B S GANESH BANGALORE

21-11-2016 Black money is mainly due to too many political parties in the country and each party is competing to get elected by any means and all possible means. If black money generation is stopped there will be limited number of parties. Just as character and antecedents are verified for government jobs same method even rigidly to be adopted for members and people in political parties. Corrupt and criminals must be prevented to enter politics. As per my view corrupt and criminals try to enter political parties easily. B S GANEH

Dear Sir, Sub: My suggestion to reduce ding money ding of money by rich people has been shown by the cancellation of Rs 500 & 1000 currency from 10th November.. 1. My suggestion to prevent ding money is to print in bold letters date of issue & expiry dates say about 2 (TWO) years on the notes. No doubt this increases expenses but ding of money and black market activities can be reduced.2. Cheque books must be supplied freely without charge and customers must be encouraged to use cheques for payments, instead of handling cash. This method reduces corruption and reduces the huge cost of preparing currency notes. 3. Number of cheque clearance per day must be increased once in two hours so that money can be transferred the same day of submission of cheque to bank must be ready cash in another bank I wish the idea of this letter may be published with any alteration B S GANESH Bangalore

Dear Sir, Sub: Views for financial improvementI congratulate Prime Minister, the Governor of R B I and other officers who kept the idea of sping Rs. 500 & 1000 highly confidential and exposed only late evening on the day of demonetisation after bank hours. Country is flooded with fake currency also and the idea of sping Rs 500 & 1000 is ideal and to introduce new currency suddenly. 2. My suggestion to Prime Minister, R B I governor and Finance Minister is to s the new Rs 2000 currency and introduce RS 500 & 1000 just as previously. I got yesterday Rs 2000 notes from Vijaya Bank and no trader wants to accept and wants only Rs 500 or Rs 1000 which are easy for transaction. Please s Rs 2000 currency in public interest. Already criticism has started by some politicians that Rs 2000 is introduced to help corrupt to stack and enjoy.I expect this information may be processed. B S GANESH BANGALORE

Let us wait and see on December 30th what is the change that will come. Then it will be wise to comment. Giose plans have been made in India by rulers like Muhammad-bin-Tughlaq. Insensitive statements like "collateral damage", "todi si asuvidha" have been used even though 60 people have died standing in queues for withdrawing money. God knows kithnae parivar barbad huey ... they suffer in silence. Anyway karma theory of Hinduism will work and those who inflicted pain on others will have to bear the consequences.
