Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Friday said that one should ‘work more’ and ‘talk less’ when it comes to realising the objectives of the Swachh Bharat mission.
“Since one year I haven’t seen any action, leaving along the advertisements. I want to say that we all should work on this. Let us all talk less and work more,” Kejriwal said.
“We have made toilet blocks in Majnu Ka Tila. The Delhi Government has also taken a pledge that by March 31, toilets of all slums will be cleaned and water supply will be provided,” he added.
The Swachh Bharat Abhiyan was launched by Prime Minster Modi on the 145th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. The campaign, which was launched nationwide on October 2, focuses on sanitation, hygiene and waste management.
The Swachh Bharat Abhiyan aims at making India a clean country by 2019, the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.
