Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) supremo Lalu Prasad asked workers of his party to tie old cows outside residences of BJP and RSS leaders and see their reactions, an Indian Express report said. His unusual prescription came on the last day of party’s three-day meet in Rajgir. “Just tie your old cows, which have stopped giving milk, at RSS and BJP workers’ (homes). Whenever you see stray cows, leave them at their houses and see how they react and what they do with them,” Lalu was quoted saying by The Indian Express to party workers.
During his speech, the RJD chief also demanded that three of the four Shankaracharyas should be from the Other Backward Classes, Dalits and tribal communities. Advising party workers not to attack alliance partners, JD (U) and Congress, under any scenario the report further quoted him saying, “Whatever you say, you must not speak against the alliance.”
Last month, while breaking his silence on row over the award of a contract for construction of pathways at Patna zoo by ferrying soil from a proposed mall site, Lalu Prasad had said Lara Projects LLP, in which his sons Tej Pratap Yadav and Tejashwi Prasad Yadav and wife Rabri Devi are shareholders, own the mall land. the former chief minister had also said his sons not only filed income tax returns and also followed all legal processes, an Indian Express report had said.
