Suspended Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and former Water minister of Delhi, Kapil Mishra started his fast protest against Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal and other senior party leaders. Soon after that, he took to Twitter and posted a letter for Delhi CM asking the details of international travel expenses of five AAP leaders. Mishra has asked travel details of last two years of Sanjay Singh, Satyendar Jain, Raghav Chaddha, Durgesh Pathak and Ashish Khetan. He asked, “aapne hamesha kaha ki hamare paas chunav ladne ke paise nahi hain, fir inke paas videsh yatraon ke paise kahan se aye (you’ve always said we don’t money for contesting elections, then from where did they get money for international travels)?”
Here is the complete letter:
Speaking to reporters about his protest, Mishra said, “I am Sitting on a ‘Satyagraha’ till I get a clarification on details of international travel expenses of some senior AAP leaders.” He also alleged that he has been getting life threats. “I got a threat also from an international number. But I am not afraid of anything,” Mishra said. Earlier, he had alleged Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal of taking Rs 2 cr from Satynedar Jain.

Reacting to the crisis within Aam Aadmi Party, social activist Anna Hazare told news agency ANI on Wednesday morning that Kejriwal should come forward and say that he was ready for investigation if he hadn’t done anything wrong. “Arvind Kejriwal must come forward and say that he is ready for investigation. If Kejriwal is not found guilty, then he must file a defamation case against the concerned person and if found guilty then must resign within a second,” Hazare told ANI.

“I am feeling very saddened about such allegations on Arvind Kejriwal. He was always with me when we fought against corruption. While fighting against the corruption, he became the Chief Minister. His own party’s minister has now put allegations on him for accepting Rs. 2 crore. Why had the concerned minister not revealed to the public earlier when Kejriwal accepted the money? Now, he is putting allegations after being ousted from the party. This is not right,” Anna added.
