Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Kapil Mishra who was sacked as a cabinet minister and suspended from the party’s primary membership on Monday, took to social media today to challenge Delhi CM and party chief Arvind Kejriwal. Kapil Mishra was an MLA from Karawal Nagar and in his open letter to his former “guru” CM Kejriwal, he sought his blessing before filing a CBI case against him. He wrote, “I am going to take up the biggest fight of my life against Kejriwal from whom I have learnt all these things. Before that, I seek your blessings for victory.” Mishra took to his Facebook account on Tuesday morning and listed 5 challenges for CM Arvind Kejriwal-

Challenge 1: Fight me in elections / I will take you on alone / Can you fight me one-on-one?

While challenging Kejriwal to a poll face-off, Mishra said, “Do you have the courage to face the people? If you have any morality left, then accept my challenge. You can choose a seat. I am ready to resign from Karawal Nagar… if you fear losing power. But if you believe that the public will support you, let’s fight elections from your New Delhi seat.” “What has happened in the past two years is most unfortunate. You and four-five of your friends have betrayed the people of the country,” he wrote.

Challenge 2: Prove Charges against me

Mishra on Monday said, “Satyendar Jain had personally told me that there was a land deal of Rs 50 crore for a 7-acre plot in Chhatarpur for Kejriwal’s brother-in-law… also, fake bills of Rs 10 crore from the PWD were forged. Whoever raises questions against them (AAP) becomes a BJP and Modi agent… I have fought against BJP, Congress and corruption. I will never join the BJP and I am not in touch with any BJP leader. I challenge all those sitting with Arvind Kejriwal to get proof that I am in touch with the BJP.”

Challenge 3: I have ‘undeniable’ proof

Kapil Mishra said, “You know what kind of deals I am talking about. Had I not written to the ACB, you would not have removed me in a hasty manner.” He further added that was out to demolish the labyrinth of lies, betrayal and corruption and would go to any extent in his fight against corruption. On Monday, Mishra submitted documents related to the water tanker scam to the ACB, alleging that Kejriwal delaying probe against former chief minister Sheila Dikshit.

Challenge 4: It’s my crusade against you / You can’t cow me down

Kapil Mishra has claimed that he has been receiving threats, but that these will not deter him from pursuing his anti-corruption agenda.

Challenge 5: Can’t be judge, jury and executioner

“I know your every move and I am treading cautiously. I will tell the CBI everything that I have seen or heard,” he threatened. He claimed that he had been removed from his ministerial post for writing a letter to the Anti-Corruption Branch (ACB). Mishra also alleged that the AAP chief was trying to get his assembly membership terminated. He said Kejriwal was once his “guru” and that he was going to file a case against him with a “heavy heart”. Mishra, who has levelled allegations of graft against Kejriwal and minister Satyendar Jain, also claimed that he had received 211 “corruption-related” complaints against the party and the government since last evening.
