Justice SN Dhingra, who submitted a report to Haryana government on grant of land licences to some companies, including that of Robert Vadra in Gurgaon, today dismissed Congress accusation that he received favours from the state’s BJP government.

“Nothing had been given to me. Not even one paisa grant was given to my trust,” he said rubbishing Congress’ charge. Former Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda had alleged that out-of-turn favours were extended by the Haryana government to a Gurgaon-based charitable trust headed by Dhingra after he was appointed head of the Commission last year.

Dhingra said he had made a request to the deputy Commissioner, Gurgaon, to construct a paver-block road in place of a kutcha road leading to a school for underprivileged children. The school is run by a trust headed by Dhingra.

The school has been built by Justice Gopal Singh Public Charitable Trust and Justice Dhingra is one of the seven trustees and the chairman of the trust.
